A woman feels more confident when she knows that she looks good and smells great. There are many perfumes around but Gucci perfumes have always been a cut above the rest. Presenting Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, a new scent that is fresh, light, breezy, and subtle, very much suited for the woman who wants to exude sensuality and strength every minute of everyday. It is more understated than Gucci Eau de Parfum which is more appropriate for special events. A woman will surely feel more radiant when she wears this scent.

The Gucci Première fragrance is inspired by the Gucci Première couture collection worn by some of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses like Cameron Diaz, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek, Naomi Watts, and Li Bing Bing at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. The bottle and packaging of the Eau de Toilette is somewhat similar to the Eau de Parfum. There is a medal charm around the neck of the elegant flacon, entwined with the House’s iconic horsebit and a cap bearing “Gucci Première”. There is also the box with interlocking GG Diamante pattern, their signature web stripe, and the signature of founder Guccio Gucci. In keeping with the unique character of the Eau de Toilette, the glamour has been re-imagined and the color of the box is now muted gold.

Radiant flowers and sparkling citrus notes bring a new lightness to the fragrance. The initial bloom triggers a luminous sophistication, the orange blossom and the light citrus oils combine to give you the feeling of sheer elegance. There is also a mix of jasmine sambac and Bulgarian rose contrasted with delicate freesia, giving the wearer a contemporary and vibrant scent that brings out the woman in her and which she can wear everyday.

As a way to promote Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, a video campaign with Hollywood star Blake Lively was launched (she was also the model of the original Gucci Première Eau de Parfum). No other actress is better suited for this campaign because she is the epitomy of a sexy, elegant, successful, and confident woman. Blake Lively says: “This new fragrance announces that you have strength and are happy in your own skin. I really love that. It’s for the woman that I’ve always aspired to be. Every day.” The video campaign photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, is beautifully shot in black and white and is in slow motion. It shows Blake in all her sexy yet sophisticated glory.
